Institutional Due Diligence

For Institutions & Organizations

Educators, settlement organizations, media, and community leaders face a different decision than individual readers: whether this guide is something their people can be pointed toward. That decision deserves review, not persuasion.

Organizations considering sharing or recommending this guide may request free review access before making any decision. Review access does not create an obligation to endorse, promote, or partner with the project.

Direct answers to the questions institutions ask

Who is the author?

Remus Bogdan — an independent author who has lived and worked in Canada since 2000. Full background and explicit disclaimers: About the Author.

Is this legal or immigration advice?

No, explicitly. The book states on its own pages that it does not replace regulated professional advice. It is a practical, source-backed orientation guide.

What methodology was used?

A documented source hierarchy — federal and provincial government sources, regulators, Statistics Canada, court decisions, peer-reviewed research, and named journalism where primary sources are unavailable. Full method: Research & Verification.

Who handles complaints?

The author, directly, at morteanubogdan@gmail.com. There is no intermediary. Corrections follow a public policy with a visible change log: Corrections & Updates.

How is partner compensation disclosed?

Openly. Partners earn a stated commission on sales made through their links, and their audiences are shown the discount attached to those links. There are no undisclosed incentives anywhere in the system.

What happens if information changes?

The digital edition is updated and the change recorded publicly. Institutions linking to the book can rely on readers receiving the current edition, not a frozen snapshot.

Are we endorsing the product by participating?

No. Reviewing, referring, or partnering are separate decisions at separate doors. Sharing a link with review notes, recommending without any link, or simply reading — each is a valid outcome, and ending the conversation is a respected one.
